RGW is an online store for bathroom fixtures: shower doors, partitions, cabins, trays and accessories. The store serves both retail and B2B: shops, wholesalers, developers, hotels and installation companies. I connected MAXMA — an external loyalty and CRM marketing platform — to the store and integrated it with data exchange in CS-Cart.
Client’s goal
The standard CS-Cart bonus program stopped meeting the store’s needs. The business needed a full-featured loyalty platform with promotions, email campaigns, virtual cards and customer analytics — in other words, MAXMA — and it had to work inside a normal purchase flow, not as a separate process.
What I did
CS-Cart sends customer, order and purchase data to MAXMA. MAXMA returns information about available bonuses and promotions. The connection is fully two-way — without that, bonuses are just decoration.
The customer follows the familiar path: catalog → product → cart → checkout. At the checkout step, bonuses and promotions from MAXMA are applied. No extra steps or separate loyalty account are required.
MAXMA receives data about customer behavior: which categories they browse, what they buy, and for what amounts. Marketers then use these data for segments, campaigns, promotions and analytics.
The store connected a specialized loyalty platform without changing the engine: the current e-commerce infrastructure stayed on CS-Cart, while the marketing stack on top expanded.
If the built-in bonus program is no longer enough, you can connect CS-Cart to an external loyalty platform and keep the purchase flow familiar for customers.
You need segments, RFM analytics, virtual cards, trigger-based campaigns and cross-channel promotions — features that are not available out of the box.
MAXMA, Mindbox, RetailCRM, CDP, CloudPayments Loyalty — each system has its own API, so every integration is unique.
The store accrues and redeems bonuses, but they are not connected to promotions, campaigns, segments or customer analytics.
Customers should not have to go through extra steps or face errors at checkout because of an external service.
The loyalty program has to account for different customer types, sales scenarios and bonus rules.
If data exchange breaks, numbers diverge and marketers do not trust the reports, the integration needs to be dismantled and fixed.
Yes. CS-Cart can be integrated with MAXMA, Mindbox, RetailCRM, CloudPayments Loyalty, CDP and other loyalty platforms. Each integration is unique — it depends on the external system’s API and your business scenarios.
The built-in CS-Cart bonus system covers a simple scenario: “accrue and redeem”. When you need segments, RFM analytics, campaigns, virtual cards, trigger-based promotions and cross-channel links, you need a specialized loyalty platform.
No, if the integration is implemented correctly. Bonuses and promotions are applied on the standard checkout step, without a separate login to a loyalty account.
Yes. On the CS-Cart side you configure which customer and order categories are sent to MAXMA, and which bonus rules apply to retail and B2B.
It depends on the data volume and exchange scenarios. I provide an exact timeline and estimate after reviewing your specific task.
