For more than a year I developed the project as a B2B platform: product pages, bundles, customer area, documents, purchase history, integrations, loyalty program and performance.
We've been collaborating with Anton for over a year on a regular, daily basis. Don't hesitate to contact him if:
- you need a specialist who can quickly grasp the essence of tasks, analyze, and correct other people's code
- can solve a wide range of problems from various fields.
- stable, focused, and willing to work hard - no issues with discipline, communication, or feedback
- provides objective, accurate estimates, doesn't add unnecessary hours, and responsibly accounts for time spent
- you're not always able to write precise specifications and need a specialist who can independently interpret and
analyze specific aspects, without pestering you with unnecessary or stupid questions, and without doing anything haphazardly and
then saying, "It wasn't specified in the specification."
I'd be happy to resume working with you on a permanent basis once the appropriate amount of work becomes available.
Client’s goal
For buyers, it is not enough to simply add a product to the cart. They need to quickly find compatible tools, locate the right item by parameters, repeat past purchases, download documents, act on behalf of an organization and receive accurate data from the company’s internal systems.
Solution
Instead of isolated fixes, the site evolved step by step into a B2B system where catalog, product pages, customer area, documents and integrations follow the same logic. The main focus was helping buyers solve production tasks: pick the right tools, assemble bundles, repeat purchases, compare items, get documents and manage orders on behalf of an organization.
Product pages were extended for a complex technical assortment: specifications, compatible items, spare parts, videos, PDFs, QR codes, bundles and product states.
Bundles received dedicated pages, availability checks, correct display in cart and orders, generators, templates and reports.
Favourites and comparison lists were improved with richer selections, sharing, bulk actions and category-based comparison.
The customer area was adapted for organizations, employees, access roles, company details, approval requests and switching the active organization.
Data exchange scenarios were developed for 1C, external company and document databases, product imports, data exports and notifications.
Loyalty logic, point imports and transfers, reports and display in the customer area were improved, along with the speed of listings, filters and bundle pages.
The main value of the project lies not in one specific feature, but in systematic development of the online store. CS-Cart was adapted for a complex B2B catalog, regular purchases, documents, integrations and technical product selection.
If your CS-Cart store has already outgrown the simple “catalog → cart → order” scenario, the platform can be adapted to real B2B processes.
Many specifications, compatibilities, analogues, technical codes and selection scenarios that cannot be covered by a standard product page.
You need organizations, employees, access roles, company details, company switching and different rights within one customer structure.
Buyers regularly return to the same products, so you need purchase history, filters, exports and quick repeat ordering.
The site must be connected to 1C, external databases, documents, organizations, stock levels and internal company processes.
As the catalog grows, filters and listings start to slow down. You need optimization so that the site remains convenient for purchasing managers.
