My goal is not just to write code, but to carry a task from the initial brief to the final solution.

My name is Anton Larionov. For over 5 years, I worked on the CS-Cart team as a lead client-facing specialist: I improved stores, contributed to marketplace development, wrote modules, implemented integrations, and helped streamline business processes.

What my CS-Cart experience brings to the table

This experience helps me find the root cause faster, see how the platform is connected internally, and choose an implementation path that does not create unnecessary risks for the store.

I can identify the root cause faster When a store becomes unstable, it is important not just to see the symptom, but to quickly narrow down the possible causes. CS-Cart experience helps me avoid long trial-and-error checks and focus on the right area from the start.
I understand how different parts of the platform affect each other Changes in the catalog, shipping, payments, modules, or admin panel rarely exist in isolation. I always consider what a task may affect and where side effects may appear.
I have seen the typical mistakes made by stores, developers, and modules Many CS-Cart issues repeat themselves: conflicting or broken customizations, heavy database queries, core modifications, errors after updates. This helps me recognize weak spots faster.
I can recommend the safest path Sometimes the best solution is not the fastest one. What matters more is solving the task in a way that does not break current processes or create extra pain during future updates.

People usually come to me when CS-Cart already works, but the business needs more

CS-Cart needs to be adapted to a business process For example, changing how the catalog, product page, checkout, customer account, or admin area works.
A module is needed, but it is not in the marketplace When ready-made solutions do not fit or only partially solve the task, it is better to build a module for the specific scenario.
CS-Cart Multi-Vendor needs to be developed further Marketplaces often need their own rules for vendors, pricing, requests, access, commissions, storefronts, and internal workflows.
CS-Cart needs to be integrated with an external system CRM, 1C, shipping, payments, loyalty programs, CDN, API, feeds, internal services — anything where reliable data exchange matters.
The project has grown, but the processes are still manual Managers copy data between systems, manually check requests, move statuses around, or do work that can already be automated.
The store needs to be updated or cleaned up Over time, modules, custom changes, and dependencies accumulate. Before developing further, it helps to understand what is already there and where the risks are.

For me, a good customization is not just code, but maintainability

If the task is only needed to test an idea quickly, that is one approach. If the solution has to live in the project for a long time, handle growth, updates, and new requirements, it needs a more careful approach.

01 I start by understanding the task What exactly needs to change, who will use the result, and why the business needs it.
02 I review the current project Which CS-Cart version is used, what modules are installed, what customizations already exist, and where conflicts may appear.
03 I suggest a clear solution I explain how the task can be solved, what limitations exist, and why one path is better than another.
04 I build it carefully, not carelessly Fast and good at the same time is rare. If the goal is a stable solution, it is better to allow time for proper implementation and testing.

What matters to me in work

It is important to me that a customization does not solve one problem by creating three new ones. That is why I try not to make changes “anywhere and everywhere” and not to overcomplicate things when a simpler solution is enough.

At the same time, I am not against quick solutions when the task is to test an idea or cover a temporary need. It is just important to clearly understand the difference between a temporary fix and proper development that the business will rely on later.

How I see my role

I do not just write code — I provide the full workflow from the initial task description to final delivery and support.

Good development starts not with code, but with understanding the task. Code is simply the way to implement the right solution cleanly.

For online stores Customization of the catalog, product page, checkout, customer account, integrations, and internal workflows.
For marketplaces Multi-Vendor development: vendors, pricing plans, requests, access, storefronts, commissions, restrictions, and custom platform logic.
For growing projects Ongoing support, careful changes, preparation for updates, integrations, and reducing manual work.
