Search queries reveal what visitors want and what they struggle to find in your catalog. Search Analytics for CS-Cart records storefront product searches and displays the statistics in the administration panel.
Use the report to identify popular queries, review search results and spot gaps in your assortment. Searches with no results can help you decide which products to add or which product names, descriptions and search keywords to improve.
The add-on records completed product searches on the first results page. Moving to subsequent pages does not count as another search.
Matching queries are grouped within each calendar day, separately for each storefront and language. Letter case and extra whitespace are normalized. The same query on different days appears as separate records: the counter represents searches for that day, rather than unique visitors.
The number of products found is updated with each recorded search and reflects the latest result for that record. Statistics start accumulating after the add-on is installed and activated.
